A TITAN Reckoning: Owning the Moment

Overview

This is not a motivational talk. This is an honest conversation about what happens when the calendar clears and the title is gone.

Something is shifting for Black executive women in America. The layoffs, the forced pivots, the titles that vanished, the Mondays that went quiet. And underneath all of it, the questions most of us have been too busy to sit with: Who am I outside this role? What have I been building that I have never named? What am I actually waiting for?

A TITAN Reckoning: Owning the Moment a virtual series from Titan Executive Network that moves Black executive women from awareness to action. This is not a panel. This is not a feel-good webinar. This is structured, expert-led work designed to leave you with something real by the time it is over.

Four sessions. Five expert facilitators. One complete career resilience toolkit delivered at the close.

THE SESSIONS

  • Session 1 | May 19 | Who Am I Now? (Empty Mondays)
Michele Lamarre + Cecilia Nelson-Hurt, The After Chapter

  • Session 2 | June 2 | What Have I Been Giving Away? (Unpack the Suitcase)
Jacqueleen Crittle, Career Doctor, LLC + Latricia Shepard, Accelerated Dimensions

  • Session 3 | June 16 | What Am I Waiting For? (Unmuted)
Andrea Henderson, DHR Global + Latricia Shepard, Accelerated Dimensions

  • Session 4 | June 22 | What Would Make You Say Perfect Timing? (Make My Day)
    Jacqueleen Crittle, Career Doctor, LLC

What you will walk away with across the full series:

  • Language for the grief that comes with career transition, so you can move through it instead of around it

  • Your Intrinsic Value statement, drafted and practiced live

  • Your Transferable Skills Suitcase unpacked, re-labeled, and ready to carry into your next destination

  • Three things actually done in Session 3 before you log off: a public declaration of what you want, a networking ask sent, and a bold move named in front of witnesses

  • The Make My Day Framework and the SATISFY Framework as your personal operating system for what comes next

  • The complete series toolkit delivered as your graduation gift at the close of Session 4

Who this series is for:

Black executive women who are in career transition, at a crossroads, still employed and quietly asking what is next, or building something of their own and need to reframe the value they carry. You do not need to be in crisis to belong in this room. You need to be ready to stop whispering about what you want and start building toward it.

Format:

Virtual | Zoom | 7:00 PM EDT | Sessions run 80 to 90 minutes | No recordings | Live attendance only | Dedicated WhatsApp community for all registrants between sessions

Space will be extremely limited. REGISTER TODAY.

A TITAN Literary Experience

Join TITAN on July 29 for an intimate evening celebrating storytelling, sisterhood, and one of our own.

Hosted in a beautifully curated live setting with cocktails, light bites, and meaningful conversation, this special gathering will spotlight award-nominated author and TITAN member Renee Daniel Flagler and her acclaimed novel, Second Wives Club.

Through selected readings, candid discussion, and shared reflection, we’ll explore the layered emotional terrain of love, blended families, ambition, healing and second chances. The novel follows three women navigating the realities behind seemingly perfect lives, asking difficult questions about relationships, identity, sacrifice, and what it truly means to choose yourself.

This will be more than a book event. It’s an opportunity to support Black women’s storytelling, engage in honest conversation, and experience the power of literature in community.

As Renee herself shared while writing the book:

“There were moments while writing Second Wives Club when I had to pause and ask myself — ‘Would I stay… or would I walk away?’”

Come prepared for an evening that sparks dialogue, reflection, laughter, and connection.

Because the best stories do not just entertain us.
They make us examine ourselves.

If you have read it: come ready to go deep. If you have not read it: come anyway. The conversation will carry you.

Who’s Got the Playbook? A Conversation with Karesha McGee

A Conversation with Karesha McGee, Author of The Family Healthcare Playbook

You have a crisis communications plan at work. A business continuity plan. A performance review playbook. But what about the plan for the moment your phone rings and a doctor is on the other end?

Titan Executive Network invites you to an evening that will change the way you think about your family’s health. Join us for a powerful conversation with Karesha McGee, a 25-year tech communications veteran and author of The Family Healthcare Playbook: An Action Plan for the Accidental Caregiver.

Karesha did not set out to be a caregiver. She set out to be an executive. But when her mother experienced two brain aneurysms, multiple brain surgeries, and a series of strokes, Karesha did what she knew how to do: she built a playbook. One she took to every doctor’s appointment, every emergency room visit, every 911 call.

Now she has turned that playbook into a book for all of us.

This event will cover:

  • The Before: what every family should have in place before a medical crisis hits

  • The During: how to advocate confidently in medical settings and know what to do in an emergency

  • The After: what caregiving actually looks like once your loved one comes home

  • The conversation we don’t have: Black families, healthcare distrust, and how to bridge it

RSVP TODAY!

About Karesha McGee

Karesha McGee is an award-winning global communications leader and sought-after public speaker with more than 20 years of experience in the high-tech industry. She is also a caregiver.

Throughout her career, McGee has advised C-level and senior executives at large multinationals, high-growth start-ups, and venture capital firms including Slack (now Salesforce), Cisco, Oracle, Uber, BEA Systems, Hello Tractor, and Vested World. Interspersed with these high-powered professional milestones have been intense seasons of serving as the primary caregiver for her mother through significant health crises, including breast cancer and two brain aneurysms which resulted in multiple brain surgeries and other medical interventions.

The dichotomy of working as a senior enterprise software tech executive while simultaneously serving as her mother’s primary caregiver has forced McGee to develop a pragmatic, systems-based approach to navigating healthcare and decision-making under pressure. Her experiences of embracing the joys and challenges of caregiving became the foundation for her book, The Family Healthcare Playbook: An Action Plan for the Accidental Caregiver, which translates hard-earned lessons and best practices into an empowering resource for families, medical professionals, business leaders, and anyone who suddenly finds themselves caring for a loved one.

Currently, McGee is the CEO & Founder of Allana Advisory Services, a boutique communications advisory firm. Previously, she served as VP of Communications at Slack, where she built their first global corporate communications function and helped lead the company through multiple fundraises, executive hires, its direct listing on the New York Stock Exchange, and its subsequent acquisition by Salesforce. She also led 1 executive communications at Uber and served as a partner at the Pramana Collective. Additionally, McGee spent nearly seven years as a member of the executive communications team for John Chambers, former Chairman and CEO of Cisco.

In addition to her professional pursuits, McGee has regularly volunteered in her community. She is currently a Board Trustee of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, California, which comprises the de Young and the Legion of Honor museums, as well as the American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.). She is a member of Black Women on Boards (BWOB) and an alum of Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) and the Rotary International group study program in Brazil.

McGee graduated cum laude from Cornell University with a BA in anthropology and received an executive MBA from the joint UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and Columbia Graduate School of Business program. She has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. She speaks Spanish, has a working knowledge of Portuguese, and when she’s not caregiving, enjoys dancing Cuban salsa in the rueda style.

Black History Month 2026: Black Love — Finding Our Superpower

A Journaling & Reflective Leadership Workshop for Black Women Executives

Black Love sometimes looks like slowing down long enough to listen to yourself.

Finding Our Superpower is a guided journaling and reflective leadership workshop created for Black women executives who want space to reconnect with their inner wisdom, honor their lived experience, and practice self-love without performance or pressure.

Grounded in themes from Dr. Menah Pratt’s award-winning book, Blackwildgirl: A Writer’s Journey to Take Back Her Superpower, this session invites participants into a gentle, intentional journaling practice—one that centers reflection, reclamation, and self-trust as leadership tools.

This is a journals-in-hand experience. Participants are encouraged to bring a journal, notebook, or blank pages and a pen or pencil. Through guided prompts, framing reflections, and optional moments of sharing, participants will engage in writing as a way to explore identity, leadership, and the wisdom forged across Black womanhood.

No prior journaling experience is required.

  • If you’ve never journaled before, this is a low-stakes, supportive space to try it for the first time

  • If journaling is already part of your practice, this is an opportunity to deepen and elevate how you use it for reflection, grounding, and leadership clarity

Participants will experience:

  • A calm, confidential virtual space rooted in care and agency

  • Guided journaling inspired by Blackwildgirl and our lived experience as Black women

  • Creative engagement focused on insight—not writing skill or artistic ability

  • Permission to engage at your own depth, in your own way

This workshop is not about fixing or optimizing yourself. It is about remembering what you already carry.

Black Love, expressed as self-love, reflection, and reclamation.

Facilitated by Dr. Menah Pratt, JD, PhD Author of Blackwildgirl: A Writer’s Journey to Take Back Her Superpower

This book is for anyone who wants to understand the experiences of girls as they seek to become wild women—women who are fierce and fearless; women who are warriors for themselves and others; women who are committed to cultivating and excavating their spiritual gardens and tilling their spiritual souls to blossom and bloom; and women who want to move from invisible underground lives to aboveground lives of impact and influence by reclaiming their original power and role as women in the world. Black History Month 2026: Black Love — The Executive Fortress

The Executive Fortress
Strategic Career Defense

Special Guest: Marjorie Mesidor, Esq.

In 2026, loving yourself as a Black woman executive means protecting what you’ve built.

As DEI initiatives are quietly dismantled, AI reshapes performance and promotion decisions, and leadership roles increasingly place Black women on the “glass cliff,” career success without protection is no longer enough.

The Executive Fortress is an executive-level legal strategy session designed for Black women leaders who understand that their careers are high-value assets—and deserve to be defended accordingly.

Led by employment attorney and strategist Marjorie Mesidor, this session moves beyond surface-level advice to offer real, tactical guidance on how to safeguard your role, reputation, and legacy across every phase of executive life—from negotiation and performance management to exit strategy.

Participants will explore:

  • How to negotiate executive contracts that anticipate AI-driven restructuring and leadership risk

  • Strategies for creating an unassailable paper trail in increasingly algorithm-driven workplaces

  • How to protect yourself amid DEI rollbacks and “reverse discrimination” scrutiny

  • What a clean, strategic exit looks like—and how to secure one without reputational harm

This is not about leaning in.
It’s about locking it down.

Black Love, expressed as career protection.

About Ebby & Nkeoma Luxury Salon

Nkeoma, meaning "the good one" in the Ibo language, is more than just a salon – it's a vibe, a celebration of African and African-American beauty, and a big, warm hug for your hair. Our journey started with a simple yet powerful idea: What if a salon could be more than just a place to get your hair done? What if it could be a community, a space where every curl, kink, and coil is not just embraced but celebrated?

Our journey began with deeply personal experiences. Over the years, Ebby experienced firsthand the frustration of inconsistent service, a less-than-ideal environment, and a general feeling of not being truly understood by the salons I visited. The tipping point came when our daughter endured a particularly subpar salon experience—a moment that hit close to home and made it clear that something had to change.

Motivated by that experience, we set out to build Nkeoma Luxury Salon—a sanctuary where natural hair is celebrated and cared for with the highest level of excellence. "Nkeoma," our daughter's middle name meaning "The Good One" in Ibo (a Nigerian language), perfectly encapsulates our promise: to create a luxurious, warm, and inclusive space where every client with curly and textured hair feels seen, valued, and empowered.

As corporate professionals with a passion for creating meaningful change, we decided to take matters into our own hands. Though we didn't come from a traditional haircare background, we immersed ourselves in learning from the very best, refining every detail, and ensuring that our salon isn't just another service provider-it's a community hub dedicated to genuine care and consistent, exceptional service.

Join us as we redefine what a salon experience should be. At Nkeoma Luxury Salon, you're not just getting a service; you're becoming part of a movement to celebrate authentic beauty and build a nurturing environment that truly cares

Despite hitting goals, many leaders and employees were still overlooked, undervalued, or burnt out.

So she spent years studying what drives loyalty, retention, and recognition inside Fortune 500 companies and discovered a powerful truth: visibility is the currency of opportunity. Not the noisy, performative kind—but the type that accelerates careers, protects revenue, and future-proofs organizations.

Today, Shantel equips companies with frameworks like Manager Engagement + AI Fluency™ and individuals with her Promote Your D@mn Self™ method, helping them retain top talent, build cultures of belonging, and turn personal brands into enterprise assets. Her thought leadership has been featured on NBC, and she has delivered game-changing talks on stages such as AWS re:Invent and the Sistas in Sales Summit, inspiring audiences to lead with confidence and authenticity.

When she’s not keynoting stages or shaping workplace culture, she’s reminding leaders everywhere: “You’re not overlooked because you’re not good enough. You’re overlooked because you’re not properly positioned."

Sisterhood Circle...

After a long day of leading, managing, and showing up for everyone else, where do you go to just be?

Welcome to TITAN’s Sisterhood Circle, a sacred space created just for you—to rest, reflect and reconnect. In this special evening gathering, there’s no formal agenda, no pressure to perform—just space to be real, to release, and to feel restored in the company of powerful women who get it.

This session is designed with intention but held with softness, gently guiding us from awareness to connection to release. Together, we’ll open and close in prayer, check in on our state of mind, make space for open dialogue, and end with a guided meditation inspired by the mantra made famous on A Different World:

“Relax. Relate. Release.”

Whether you need to vent, be lifted, or simply sit in sisterhood, this circle is for you. You’ll leave feeling more grounded, more connected, and more whole.

Come as you are. We’ll be here to hold space for you.
